Weltevreden Estate

Weltevreden is a restored 1692 manor house on Welgevonden Boulevard, at the foot of the Simonsberg just outside Stellenbosch, and is run as part of the B Collection alongside the Bertha Wines tasting room. The gardens, the maze garden, the old wine cellar and the Jonkershuis restaurant are used for functions, and booking platforms quote a ceiling of about 120 guests for weddings and other events.

Catering is in-house, with canapé, breakfast, high tea and harvest-table menus. Accommodation runs to fourteen double rooms across the manor house loft, the river cottages and the hatchery, plus the Die Werf self-catering cottage, so a wedding party can take over the estate. Pricing is by quote.
