Hawksmoor House is a country house on Matjieskuil Farm, on the R304 north of Stellenbosch towards Klapmuts. It is run as an exclusive-use estate rather than a packaged wedding venue: you take the whole property, appoint your own planner and suppliers, and use the lawns, lemon grove pergola and barn as you choose. Marquees and open flame are permitted.
The property has 16 guest rooms in four buildings around the old werf, sleeping about 32 people. There is a bar with a liquor licence and corkage applies to your own alcohol. The estate won two LUXlife Global Wedding Awards in 2024 for the Western Cape.
