Matters of the Heart

Matters of the Heart is a ceremony practice led by Jaqueline Dommisse. She works outside any religious institution and writes each wedding from the couple's own story, which makes her a natural fit for same-sex, interfaith and intercultural couples. Her theatre and writing experience shows in the structure of the ceremonies, and she helps with vow writing as part of the process.

Alongside weddings she conducts naming days, memorials and other rites of passage, and offers pre-marital and grief counselling. Fees are not published; the first step is to arrange a consultation. Her own site does not state Home Affairs registration, so confirm the legal arrangements with her when you book.
