I Do Weddings

I Do Weddings is run by marriage officer Dion Goldie, who has officiated for more than seventeen years and works with a small team, all licensed by the Department of Home Affairs for civil, religious, inter-faith and same-sex civil union ceremonies. Blessings, commitment ceremonies and vow renewals are also offered, though these carry no legal paperwork.

Ceremonies are built with the couple, with personal vows encouraged, and extra planning meetings are not charged. The practice specialises in overseas and upcountry couples, usually meeting them the week before the wedding and handling the rest by email, and can arrange the unabridged certificate and apostille through DIRCO (currently around six weeks). It is based in Cape Town and travels across the Western Cape, including the Winelands. Quotes are by enquiry.
