Cape Marriages

Cape Marriages is run by Willie Viljoen, who has been officiating for close to forty years and was named Pink Book's Best Marriage Officer in 2023. He is registered with the Department of Home Affairs and takes care of the document administration and registration of the marriage, which is often the part couples worry about most.

The process includes two consultations: an initial one by video or in person in Cape Town, and a second in person shortly before the wedding. Ceremonies run to about half an hour and can be formal or informal, religious or not. He works with both South African and international couples at venues throughout the Western Cape. The business describes its pricing as affordable but does not publish figures.
