Winery Road Forest

Winery Road Forest is on Vredenburg farm between Somerset West and Stellenbosch, close to the N2 and about 35 minutes from Cape Town. The ceremony is held in a white chapel looking into the trees, which the venue describes as an all-weather space, so rain does not change the plan. Receptions are in the barn with its garden courtyard, strung with bistro lights and warmed by open fire baskets.

The dam, with the Helderberg and Stellenbosch mountains behind, is used for photographs and pre-reception drinks. There is a dressing room for the bridal party, full-service planning, and a small honeymoon suite called The Simon overlooking the dam. Midweek and winter rates are discounted; quotes are free on request.
