Saronsberg Cellar

Saronsberg sits at the foot of the mountain it is named after, with lawns under old oaks, a large pond and vineyards in front of the cellar. Ceremonies are held outdoors on the front lawn under the oaks or, in bad weather, inside the estate's art gallery. Venue hire covers the front gardens, the double-volume tasting room and the main reception hall, and the stone lapa and pool area can be taken for a pre-wedding braai or welcome evening.

There is no restaurant on the farm, so couples choose from the estate's list of approved caterers and coordinators. The sixteen self-catering vineyard cottages, sleeping 51, are booked exclusively for the wedding party, with more rooms available on neighbouring farms, which suits a weekend-long celebration.
