Guinevere Guest Farm

Guinevere Guest Farm is a private fynbos farm about 90 minutes from Cape Town, with a single large farmhouse at its centre. Because there is only one house, the couple has the whole property to themselves for the weekend. The basic package covers two nights, ceremony chairs, dining tables and benches for 50, a wedding arch, décor such as candle holders, bunting and fairy lights, and extra staff for the weekend. The farm can take up to 80 people, but furniture and décor are included for 50.

Ceremonies are held on the front lawn, in the central courtyard or indoors in the dining hall or lounge, and dancing moves to the entrance hall, courtyard or upstairs pool lounge. The farmhouse sleeps 32 across its bedrooms, with nearby lodges suggested for overflow. The farm recommends outside caterers and other suppliers from its brochure. Rates are on enquiry, with reductions for midweek and winter weddings.
