Rickety Bridge Winery

Rickety Bridge is on the main road just outside Franschhoek village. Ceremonies are held in the Manor House gardens with the vineyards behind, and receptions in a Cape Dutch banqueting hall that was once the barrel maturation cellar, or under a white marquee.

The estate markets an all-inclusive package covering venue hire, a three-course menu, wines and accommodation, with a dedicated coordinator. Its own site lists two stays on the farm: the Manor House (three en-suite rooms for six) and the Farm Stay, made up of the Homestead, Jonkershuis and The Cottage, together sleeping 20, so a wedding party can take 26 beds on the estate. Basse Provence, named in older listings, is a separate country house nearby. The estate's site currently covers its restaurant, wine centre, padel club and stays but carries no wedding page, so confirm that wedding bookings are still taken before enquiring in detail.
