Mont Rouge Wedding Venue

Mont Rouge lies on Sterkstroom Road outside Tulbagh, hemmed in by mountains, trees and river. The ceremony takes place in a fern grove with the Winterhoek peak as backdrop, and the reception moves to the Barnwood Hall, which seats 140 and is set within landscaped gardens. The venue commits to a single event each weekend so the team's attention is undivided.

Couples can hand the planning to the in-house coordinator, who handles catering and personalised décor; the venue has a bar, a liquor licence and permission for marquees and open flame. A bridal suite and honeymoon suite are on site, and self-catering riverside cottages with bedding, towels and breakfast basics house the wider party. Pricing is on request.
