Duane bought his first camera in 2003, shot his first wedding in 2007 and has worked on weddings full time since 2010. His approach is to record the key moments of the day truthfully rather than stage them, and to let each couple's personality carry the pictures. Alongside full wedding days he photographs elopements, engagement sessions, portraits and lifestyle work, and galleries are delivered to a private online client area.

He is based in Somerset West, which puts the Helderberg venues on his doorstep and Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl within easy reach; his blog includes weddings at MolenVliet, Winery Road Forest and Boschendal, as well as destination weddings in Zimbabwe and the United States. His work has been featured by Rock n Roll Bride, SouthBound Bride and SA Weddings. Packages and pricing are not published, so couples enquire with their date and venue.
