Soetendal Venue

Soetendal Venue opened in 2020 on a Wellington estate with mountain views, broad lawns, a dam and horses in the paddocks. Ceremonies take place in a pillared open-air chapel among the trees, after which guests move to the Foyer for canapés and then into the Polo Venue, a 1 280 m² hall with a 12-metre bar, two fireplaces and an exclusive lounge. It seats 250 with a large dance floor or 300 without, and a 150 m² courtyard beside the dam serves pre-drinks or smaller ceremonies.

The estate also has a non-smoking cigar lounge, an 85 m² conference room and around 11 700 m² of lawn. Overnight rooms are on the property through Soetendal Bush Camp, and the venue advertises a mid-week special and a monthly payment plan. In-house catering is available, with outside caterers also permitted. Prices are quoted on enquiry.
