Okasie was started in 1999 by Chris Willemse and Dané Erwee and has a shop at 85 Dorp Street in Stellenbosch and a farm at Johannesdal nearby, where it grows hydrangeas, foliage, heritage roses and David Austin roses that flower from October to May. The studio does flowers and décor for weddings and events, large creative installations, and hires and makes furniture.
Its wedding and installation work has been featured in local and international publications and it supplies flowers to hotels and wine farms in the area. Prices are not published.
